This was an unfortunate situation, however the confusion was not my representation of the property but the communication between the buyer and their agent. The agent was told about the property and why the sellers agreed to a low price in addition to the fact that they had two bids for work to be done. Apparently, that information was not shared with the buyers. In addition, the agent failed to file an inspection notice before the deadline which could have saved the buyer's their $2000 in earnest funds. It was very unfortunate that the transaction failed due to the lack of communication, but my responsibility was to my sellers and I was honest and upfront with the buyer's agent. Hopefully they will do more research when selecting an agent to represent them in the future and will give myself and Gregory Land Group an opportunity to set the record straight.
